Art Watch Podcast

Art Watch Podcast intends to teach art history at all levels with an emphasis on Latinx and Chicanx art! These artists are often overlooked in general art historical analyses but they have contributed to the formation of art movements around the globe. My goal is to enlighten listeners about Latinx and Chicanx art while challenging institutions to incorporate more artists of color into their permanent collections. I hold a BA and MA in art history from the University of Houston and begin my PhD Fall 2020 in NYC! Please join me on this journey of art historical research!

You may have already seen the uproar on social media, for good reason too, so take a listen as I talk through what went wrong, the history of each cuisine, and just the misplacement of the theme overall.
